"Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Thy law" (Psalm 119:29). "The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death" (Proverbs 13:14). "Perilous times shall come. For men shall be… ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth… All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Timothy 3:1-17).
In perilous
times like today
As sinners are
constantly lying,
We carry the
truth of God's way
That rescues the
lost who are dying.
The Gospel of Christ
a fountain
With life-giving
truth for the lost,
Removing their sins
like a mountain
That into the ocean
is tossed.
In times when
our children are learning
From those who
have never known truth,
May God give us
hearts that are yearning
To rightfully
train up our youth!
In perilous
times, Lord, we've sought
And found in
Your Scriptures inspired
The truth You
have perfectly taught
Above all we
could have desired!
