"The thoughts of the righteous are right... He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness" (Proverbs 12:5,17). "Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God" (1 Corinthians 4:1).
The
thoughts of the righteous are right,
No
matter who says they are not.
God's
Word has provided them light
With absolute truth He has taught.
The righteousness God has extended
In promises that He has spoken
Are studied and rightly defended
In Scriptures that never were broken.
How great are these truths that He gave,
Which by His command have endured,
Unveiling the Christ who will save
The humble who trust in His Word.
As ministers, therefore, of Christ
And stewards of mysteries unveiled,
We show forth the Lamb sacrificed:
His love for our souls never failed!
O Lord, we are stewards of treasure
With mysteries Your Gospel conveys
Whereby You impart in full measure
Salvation that fills us with praise!
Lord, send us to show what is true
As ministers sent by Your grace
With mysteries revealed in You
To all who are seeking Your face.
