"The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and My people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?" (Jeremiah 5:31). "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22:20).
What is your pleasure? What tickles your ear?
The devil has answers that fit like a glove!
Yet God is still pleading with those who will hear:
O what will you do in the ending thereof?
Religions abound that conform to the will
Of those now refusing God's counsel of love.
The Spirit of God is reproving them still,
Warning their souls of the ending thereof.
O Lord, we have heard and believe the conclusion:
Surely You're coming from heaven above!
Even so, come, Lord, despite the confusion
Of those who regard not the ending thereof!
