Challenge the Chaff

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly... but his delight is in the law of the LORD... and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away" (Psalm 1:1-4). "The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath My Word, let him speak My Word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not My Word like as fire? saith the LORD, and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?" (Jeremiah 23:28).

What is chaff compared to wheat?
What is stubble to the fire?
Challenge every vain deceit:
Exalt the truth; expose the liar.

Let the dreamer dream his dream;
God has given us His Word.
Things are not what they may seem,
Challenge, therefore, what you've heard.

Lord, we thank You that You gave
Your Word on which we meditate.
We love Your Gospel that will save,
And thereby every falsehood hate.
