"The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit Thou at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.... The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek" (Psalm 110:1,4).
Jesus is Lord and the God of salvation,
And therefore we thus understand:
The Lord said to my Lord, in His conversation,
To sit down at His own right hand.
Thus He is seated and thus He shall rule
Forever, the great Prince of Peace!
All who oppose Him shall be His footstool;
His glorious reign shall not cease.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for we know as well
That You are forever our Priest,
Ordained as the One who would free us from hell;
Praise God! We're redeemed and released!
