"Sing unto the Lord, bless His name; show forth His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory AMONG the heathen, His wonders AMONG all the people" (Psalm 96:2,3).
Among this audience we stand
Of nations who have known
That God accomplished what He planned
In Christ, so clearly shown.
It's not as if our Lord had stayed
In heaven out of sight.
He came and openly displayed
His love, His life, and light.
Declare His glory day to day
With ample evidence.
Be ready always to convey
Our cause for confidence!
Among the people now declare
His love to every nation:
God gave his Son! He didn't spare
This Price for our salvation!
His life, His death, and resurrection
Are all on history's page.
His empty tomb has passed inspection,
Despite this world's rage.
Among this audience, Lord, we see
This world You invaded.
We take the truth that made us free
That souls may be persuaded.
