"We are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection.... Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:4,5,11).
We're reckoned as dead indeed to our sin.
We're reckoned alive with a life that is new.
We're reckoned as righteous that we may begin
To glorify God in all that we do.
We're planted with Christ in the likeness of death
And also the likeness of His resurrection.
Thus as we yield to Him life and breath
Our Lord gives us power and daily direction.
