Remembrance of Redemption

Read:  Psalm 72 / Proverbs 4 / Genesis 3 / Luke 6

Psalm 72:18,19 Blessed be the LORD… who only doeth wondrous things… blessed be his glorious name forever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Luke 6:5 The Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath.

The Lord alone does wondrous things;

Let all the earth proclaim His glory!

Remembrance of His mercy brings

To light His great redemption’s story.

Yes, even Eden’s garden scene,

So darkened then with condemnation,

Foresaw that Christ would intervene

And would be bruised for our salvation!
