"I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing" (Psalm 101:1). "By mercy and truth iniquity is purged" (Proverbs 16:6). "Behold the Man whose name is The BRANCH; and He shall grow up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of the LORD... He shall be a Priest upon His throne" (Zechariah 6:12,13). "Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins" (Acts 5:31).
How
great is our joy as we sing
To
Jesus our Lord and our Savior!
Behold
Him as Man and as King,
Who
purged us from sin by His favor.
By
mercy and truth sin is purged:
Our
God has devised such a plan
Which
we neither thought of nor urged,
Providing
the means and the Man.
Beholding
the BRANCH, Jesus Christ,
Who
grew in His prophesied place,
We
see Him for us sacrificed,
Extending
to sinners His grace.
O
Savior, we sing to You now
With
praise which shall never be halted
From
hearts that adoringly bow
As
You are forever exalted.
