Sinners Saved

"I will greatly praise the LORD...  for He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul" (Psalm 109:30,31).  "Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter" (Proverbs 6:5).   "No man repented... saying, What have I done?  Every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle" (Jeremiah 8:6).  "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1 Timothy 1:15).  

There is a Savior who will stand

To save the poor who to Him run.

We find Him now at their right hand,

Defending souls by sin undone. 

Let every sinner surely know

That there's no other hiding place;

Escape now as a hunted roe

To Christ who yet extends His grace!

Let souls no longer heed the prattle

Of sinners who will not repent,

Who rush as horses into battle

Until their days in vain are spent. 

We praise and thank You, Christ our Savior,

As sinners saved from condemnation,

Who find our refuge in Your favor

Because You died for our salvation!
