Infinitely Incomparable

"The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein" (Psalm 111:2).  "Wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it" (Proverbs 8:11).  "There is none like unto Thee, O LORD" (Jeremiah 10:6).  "God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (1 Timothy 3:16). 

How great the works are of the Lord

And matchless is the wisdom found

As we with pleasure have explored

His blessings which in Christ abound!   

The wisdom which our God has shared

Proclaims His great salvation's favor. 

There's nothing that can be compared

With beauty seen in Christ our Savior. 

How infinite His wisdom is

And incomparable His love

Which found a way to make us His

When He descended from above! 

O Lord, how incomparable

And infinitely great Your story:

You gave Your life to save our soul

And intercede for us in glory!
