"Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart" (Psalm 119:2). "The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD" (Proverbs 16:1). "They said... We will every one do the imagination of his evil heart" (Jeremiah 18:12). "By sound doctrine... convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers... whose mouths must be stopped" (Titus 1:9-11).
There
is a place we need to start
That
we may speak with confidence:
We're
called to seek with our heart
The
Lord who gives us our defense.
Persuasion
comes from God alone,
And
all the evidence is His.
Let
us who love Him make it known
That
He created all that is.
Though
some will hold a baseless view
Prescribed
by their imagination,
Our
God has shown us what is true:
He
is the Lord of all creation!
In
all creation, Lord, we trace
Your
handiwork and loving favor.
Let
all who seek You speak with grace
To
magnify You as our Savior!
