"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins" (Colossians 1:12-14).

We view from heaven's height,
We thank the Lord we're in the ranks
Of all His saints in light.
We thank Him as we've contemplated
The great things God has done:
From darkness we have been translated,
To serve His precious Son.
We thank the Lord that He would save
Our souls with blood He shed,
And thereby all our sins forgave
By suffering in our stead.
O Lord, in view of what we see
In Christ who thus redeems,
We know for all eternity
We'll thank You for these themes.
