"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law doth he meditate day and night.... and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.... but the way of the ungodly shall perish" (Psalm 1:1-6).
There simply is no middle ground
Between the two extremes:
The only souls in heaven found
Are those whom Christ redeems.
We'll prosper in our Savior's love,
Or perish in our shame.
Our home is with our Lord above,
Or in perdition's flame.
In Christ is true prosperity;
We dare not be confused!
There is no hope eternally,
If grace has been refused!
O Lord, we thank You that You came
To give our souls a choice
To find our Refuge in Your name,
And in Your love rejoice!
