"He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls" (Proverbs 25:28). "Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak" (Mark 14:38).
Come now, Lord, receive the crown
Acknowledging Your rule!
Erect the walls once broken down
By enemies so cruel.
Come now, Lord, receive my prayer
To take Your rightful place.
The enemy can't enter where
You're ruling by Your grace.
Come now, Lord, my spirit calls
To You with confidence.
I'm like a city without walls
That cries for Your defense.
Come now, Lord, receive my thanks
For grace and victory,
As powers of darkness break their ranks
And from Your presence flee!
