"Deal with Thy servant.... I am Thy servant; give me understanding.... It is time for Thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void Thy law" (Psalm 119:124-126). "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils" (1 Timothy 4:1).
The time has come to work, O God.
Lord, show Your servants what to do.
Beneath their feet have sinners trod
Your Law they mock and call untrue.
These are times that You foretold,
When Satan would unleash His lies.
Times of testing now unfold:
Let Your servants now arise!
Faithful servants stand the test,
And others fail by seduction.
Thereby God shall manifest
The path of life and of destruction.
Yet faithful servants sometimes fail,
But by God's grace they are restored.
For by His strength they shall prevail,
And by His mercy serve the Lord.
Faithful servants stand by grace,
Not by power of their own,
To work in such a time and place
Assigned by God, and God alone.
Times of testing now are here:
Lord, give Your servants understanding
So that we, by grace and fear,
May do the work that You're commanding.
