Psalm 29:2 ~ Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Proverbs 15:33 ~ The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility.
1 Chronicles 28:9,20 ~ Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee... he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work.
1 Thessalonians 3:13 ~ To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
We give to the Lord what is due
When we have exalted His name.
There's no greater cause to pursue
Than making His glory our aim.
There's no greater privilege we find
Than serving our Savior and Lord.
Let this be our purpose in mind;
Let this be our highest reward.
