The Lord our God has taken pleasure
In souls He saves and beautifies.
He ransomed us! We are His treasure,
And he who wins a soul is wise.
The Lord has called us to be holy
That we may make His Gospel plain.
Be steadfast, therefore, knowing fully
Our work for Him is not in vain.
