"The LORD'S throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men" (Psalm 11:4). "A faithful man who can find?... The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts" (Proverbs 20:6,27). "Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him" (Genesis 5:24). "Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me: for Thou lovedst Me before the foundation of the world" (John 17:24).
The
Lord enthroned above can see
The
thoughts of men who are inclined
To
boast of their nobility,
But
faithful men are hard to find.
The
Lord exposes every fraud
And
searches all the inward parts.
He
knows each one who walks with God,
And
He encourages their hearts.
As
Enoch walked with God each day
And
in His presence had delight,
God
took him home to thus display
That
he was pleasing in His sight.
O
Lord, these vistas of Your view
Have
set our hearts on things above
Where
we shall ever be with You
And
rest in Your eternal love!
