"The kings of the earth set themselves… against the LORD… Be wise now therefore… Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him" (Psalm 2:2,10,12). "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh… and the LORD shall be King over all the earth" (Zechariah 14:1,9). "I am from above… If ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins… Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am" (John 8:23,24,58).
The kings of
earth oppose the Lord,
Yet all their
rage shall be in vain.
The wrath of God
shall be outpoured
On all who shall
resist His reign.
The mightiest kingdoms
are but dust;
With just a
word, they'll be undone.
Be wise,
therefore, and put your trust
In Christ our
Savior, God the Son.
Behold, that day
is drawing near
When Christ
shall reign in all the earth.
Yet now He
speaks, and all who hear,
Receiving Christ,
shall have new birth.
Lord, You have
warned us to be wise
And trust You as
our spotless Lamb.
Now gratefully we
lift our eyes
To worship You,
the great I AM.
