Rejoicing in our Refuge

"Thou hast granted me life and favor, and Thy visitation hath preserved my spirit" (Job 10:12).  "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble... Come, behold the works of the LORD… Be still, and know that I am God… I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalm 46:1,8,10).  "By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil" (Proverbs 16:6,20).  "He hath done all things well: He maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak" (Mark 7:37).

The Lord has granted life and favor
Forevermore by His salvation.
Oh hallelujah!  What a Savior
Has saved us by His visitation!

He is our Refuge and our Strength,
A very present Help in trouble.
The Lord shall rule the earth at length
When kingdoms are reduced to rubble.

Yet now, until He comes again,
His Spirit in our hearts has urged
That grace and truth be preached to men,
By which iniquity is purged.

Rejoicing in our Refuge, Lord,
Our ears now hear, our tongues now tell
That You have purchased our Reward
And that You have done all things well!
