The hearts of
men can never hide
From God who
looks down from His throne.
He searches every
heart inside,
And all our sins
are fully known.
His eyes are
viewing every place,
Beholding bad and good as well.
How great our
need is of His grace
To save us from eternal
hell!
Our hearts are searched
by God above,
And thus He'll
make a separation
Between the souls
that spurned His love
And those
receiving His salvation.
O Lord, we know
our heart's desire
Cannot be hidden
from Your sight,
So draw us upward,
ever higher,
To love You with
our utmost might.
