Our
God has gone up with a shout;
Behold
Him risen from the grave! This world’s prince has been cast out,
And Jesus Christ alone can save!
Our
God is King of all the earth,
The
long-awaited virgin’s Seed. O come, proclaim our Savior’s worth,
And see the captives He has freed!
Arise
and sing with understanding
The
praise of our triumphant King! The lame shall leap at His commanding!
The deaf shall hear! The dumb shall sing!
We
sing with knowledge of the Holy,
For
understanding here begins. Behold our Savior, meek and lowly,
Who died to cleanse us from our sins!
It
was for holiness He died,
To
meet for us the Law’s demands. Behold our Savior crucified!
Behold His feet, His side, His hands!
We
cannot comprehend in full
The
depths of sorrow that He saw That He might thus redeem our soul
And satisfy His holy Law!
We
see Him pierced for what we did;
The
Lamb of God for us was slain. Our sins from Him could not be hid;
Our thoughts, our words, and deeds were plain.
We
sing with understanding now
To
Jesus Christ enthroned above As at His feet we lowly bow
To thank Him for undying love!
O
Lord, our great Passover Lamb,
The
King of glory evermore, Eternal God, the great I AM,
Our hearts are full as we adore.
O
Lord, receive our adoration,
With
songs that better understand The magnitude of Your salvation
And mercy of Your guiding hand.
