"Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy, break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and rain righteousness upon you" (Hosea 10:12). "Tribulation worketh patience, and patience, experience [i.e., tested character], and experience, hope; and hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Romans 5:3-5).
It's time to seek the Lord today;
Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
The trials God may send our way
Will cultivate the grace we need.
It's time to break up fallow ground;
We'll reap in grace the ground we till
By seeking God who shall be found
By all who seek to do His will.
We thank You, Lord, for tribulation,
For patience by the grace of God,
For testing, and the expectation
Of love Your Spirit sheds abroad.
