"My son, give Me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe My ways" (Proverbs 23:26). "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Corinthians 6:20).
How kindly the Lord has extended His call
To those He has graciously bought with a price!
How great was our ransom: He laid down His all
By giving His life, the supreme sacrifice!
And since the preeminent price has been paid,
We either surrender, or else we defraud
The Lord whose redemption was clearly displayed
When He gave Himself as the great Lamb of God.
O Lord, as we think of Your gracious command
To give You our heart, and consider Your ways,
Recalling, as well, the redemption You planned,
How can withhold what You bought for Your praise?
