"Let the redeemed of the LORD say so.... They cried to the LORD... He delivered them... and He led them forth by the right way" (Psalm 107:2-7). "I drew them with cords of a Man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke" (Hosea 11:4). "Sin shall not have dominion over you" (Romans 6:14).
How can we be silent if we are the Lord's?
Since we are redeemed, then let us say so!
With bands of His love, He drew us with cords
Extended from heaven to sinners below.
We cried to the Lord, and He rescued our soul
And led us the right way through His perfect plan:
He laid down life His to redeem us in full
And drew us to safety with cords of a Man.
We thank You, O Lord, that You took off the yoke
That fettered our souls in the sin that oppressed
Until You had drawn us and lovingly spoke
To call us to take up Your yoke and find rest!
