Completely Clear

"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12).

Now how much more could we be blest?
And how much more could grace be proved?
As far as east is from the west,
Transgressions all have been removed.

The Lord has crowned us with His love,
And given us this certainty
Through Christ who left His throne above
To give Himself for you and me.

The record is completely clear:
There's not one sin He left behind.
There's neither judgment now to fear
Nor sins that God shall call to mind.

We thank You, Lord, for what you did
That we may confidently say:
Our sins are gone, not merely hid,
For Christ has washed them all away!
