"As for God, His way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried.... Who is a Rock, save our God?" (Psalm 18:30,31). "Keep thy heart with all diligence.... Ponder the path of Thy feet, and let all thy ways be established" (Proverbs 4:26). "And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart" (Luke 2:18,19).
Ponder the way of the Lord and His Word;
His promises never have failed.
How wondrously He has performed what we heard!
How perfectly He has prevailed!
Ponder these things from His Word in your heart
And walk in the path of His light;
Keep them with diligence; do not depart
From His way to the left or the right.
Now keep all these things, as Mary once did
When angels had given direction
To shepherds from whom His Word was not hid,
Declaring our Savior's perfection!
