"Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will He teach sinners in the way. The meek will He guide in judgment, and the meek will He teach His way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies" (Psalm 25:8-10).
Good and upright is the Lord
To sinners who will seek
The truth and mercy He'll reward
To all those who are meek.
The meek will trust what God will say,
And humbly with submission,
Be thereby guided in the way
That rescues from perdition.
Yes! Even sinners He will teach
Who come in lowliness
To find His hand will surely reach
And save with righteousness!
Lord, we thank You for the love
That reaches down so far
To lift the meek to heights above,
Now seated where You are!
