Amid the darkness, rises light
That mocks the grave with liberation:
O Death, where is your boasted might?
O Grave, where is your celebration?
This liberating light displayed
Is found in Christ our risen Savior
Who tells us not to be afraid,
Since we are sheltered by His favor.
