Psalm 127:3-5 ~ Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD... As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man... they shall... speak with the enemies in the gate.
Proverbs 6:15,23 ~ Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy... reproofs of instruction are the way of life.
Numbers 26:10,11 ~ The earth opened... and swallowed... Korah... Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.
James 5:20 ~ Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
A sinner who will heed reproof
And turn before it is too late
Should warn the lost who stand aloof
That enemies are at the gate.
As Korah's children did not perish
Who turned away from condemnation,
The remedy we likewise cherish
Is in reproof and Christ’s salvation.
