Fruitful Forever

"Thy Word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth forever" (Psalm 119:160).  "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:30).  "He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature... And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the Word with signs following. Amen" (Mark 16:15,20). 

The Word of God is bearing fruit

That shall endure eternally. 

His Word is pure and absolute,

And by its truth we are made free. 

His Word is true from the beginning,

Assuring fruit in our endeavor, 

For by His Gospel He is winning

The precious souls He saves forever.

How fruitful is this occupation

Of preaching truth that opens eyes! 

We've heard the Scripture's commendation

That he who wins a soul is wise. 

Lord, thank You for Your great commission

To preach Your Word, forever true, 

That bears much fruit in those who listen

And place their trust alone in You.
