Confidence in our Creator

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage… for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest" (Joshua 1:9).  "Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth" (Psalm 119:90).  "The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath He established the heavens… the LORD shall be thy confidence" (Proverbs 3:19,26).  "Having eyes, see ye not?  And having ears, hear ye not?... How is it that ye do not understand?" (Mark 8:18,21).  

Has not the Lord commanded us?  

Is not His faithfulness displayed? 

Is not His splendor marvelous

In everything that He has made?

Wherever God commands to go,

His presence also goes there too. 

Our great Creator shall bestow

His grace in all we're called to do. 

The earth by His command abides;  

The heavens show His understanding. 

No wonder, then, He gently chides

Our causeless fear with reprimanding. 

We trust in You, our great Creator;

Our confidence is in Your Word,

For having eyes, we see none greater,

And having ears, Your voice is heard.
