"Thou hast given a banner to them that fear Thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth" (Psalm 60:4). "Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?" (Proverbs 20:9). "The voice of the Almighty God… speaketh" (Ezekiel 10:5). "Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh… Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins" (James 5:8,20).
We're bearing
the banner God gave
Declaring the truth
of salvation,
For no one but Jesus
can save
And rescue us
from condemnation.
How vain is the
boasting of many
Who think that
their own heart is clean,
While God has
declared there's not any
Who are without
sin He has seen.
The truth is
that Christ is our Savior;
To Him every
knee shall soon bow.
The time to be
seeking His favor
According to
Scripture is NOW.
We're bearing
the banner of grace,
O Lord, that's
displaying Your love
That brought You
to die in our place
To fit us for
heaven above.
