Judgment Comes by Jesus Christ

"Thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the Most High over all the earth" (Psalm 83:18).  "There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.  The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD" (Proverbs 21:30,31).  "Ten kings... shall give their power and strength unto the beast... These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings" (Revelation 17:12-14). 

Jehovah is the great "I Am,"

The Most High over all the earth. 

He bore our judgment as the Lamb;

He came to us in humble birth. 

Yet judgment comes, be not mistaken,

By Jesus Christ, as we have heard. 

Be sure, the nations shall be shaken

And overcome by just His Word. 

There is no wisdom that withstands

The King of kings and Lord of lords.

The whirlwind is in His hands;

His Word defeats Satanic hordes. 

In vain is every preparation

For battle waged against the Lord! 

How plain this is in Revelation  

When Scripture's counsel is ignored!   

We thank You, Lord, for saving grace

As we behold the day of wrath,

For You became our Hiding Place

And we found safety in Your path.   

Lord Jesus, help us reach the lost,

Persuading them to turn to You,

By showing them You paid the cost

To rescue them from judgment too.
