Partakers of Praise

“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together… The LORD redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate (אָשַׁם 'asham = guilty; condemned)” (Psalm 34:3,22).  “He giveth grace unto the lowly” (Proverbs 3:34).  “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus… For we are made partakers of Christ” (Hebrews 3:1,14).

O let us magnify the Lord,
Exalting Him in all our ways,
That we may lift in one accord
Our voice partaking in His praise!

The Lord redeems the guilty soul
Of every one who trusts in Christ.
Redemption has been paid in full
Because our Lord was sacrificed.

Our guilt has thus been washed away
By Christ who shed His blood for us.
O let us thank Him everyday
And make His praises glorious!

His grace is given to the lowly,
Though none of us deserve His favor,
For we are sinners; He is holy,
And yet He died to be our Savior!

Partakers of our Savior’s calling,
Come, praise our Captain of salvation,
And join with those in heaven falling
Before His throne in adoration!

As we partake with our High Priest
Who gave Himself to purge our sins,
We join the praise which has increased
With every soul His Gospel wins!

We are partakers, Lord, with You!
We praise You for Your saving grace!
Be magnified in all we do,
That more may turn and seek Your face.
