"The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth forever: forsake not the works of Thine own hands" (Psalm 138:8). "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).
The mercy of God shall endure,
Perfecting His work in our hearts.
Of this we may always be sure:
He'll finish the work that He starts.
We know He will never forsake
The work of His very own hands.
The Lord never makes a mistake;
Our needs He alone understands.
Lord, thank You for what You've begun,
Performing in us everyday
Your good work persistently done
Until You shall call us away.
