"With the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption" (Psalm 130:7). "I will bring forth My Servant The BRANCH.... saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.... Behold the Man whose name is The BRANCH, and He shall grow up out of His place.... and He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon His throne, and He shall be a Priest upon His throne" (Zechariah 3:8,9, 6:12,13).
Behold God's Servant! Praise His name!
The BRANCH removed iniquity
When on the cross He bore our shame
To save our souls eternally!
Behold that Man in Bethlehem,
The BRANCH who grew up from His place!
For He shall wear the diadem
As Priest and King of saving grace!
O Lord, we thank You for the BRANCH,
Who came to earth bring redemption
For souls who wouldn't have chance,
Condemned by Law without exemption!
We praise Your name, Lord Jesus Christ,
For peace which You alone could bring!
The BRANCH who paid redemption's price
Shall bear the glory as our King!
