"A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:34,35).
This is how the world shall know
That we are Christian brothers:
The love we have in Christ should show
By love we have for others.
The love of Christ should show His beauty
In us which He has planned.
His love should also flow from duty,
Obeying His command.
We ought to love as Jesus did,
Whose love was not concealed.
His love in us should not be hid,
But openly revealed.
We thank You, Lord, for love's design
That brought You from above.
O may Your light in us so shine
To show the world Your love!
