"Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsel and knowledge, that I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth, that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?" (Proverbs 22:20,21). "If I had not come and spoken unto them, that had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.... If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, that had not had sin" (John 15:22-24).
The answer of reason which we are provided
Is certain and ready for use.
The prophecies written, which God Himself guided,
Exclude every honest excuse.
It's not about winning and argument now,
But rather removing objection,
To show those who honestly seek the Lord how
Excuses provide no protection!
We thank You, Lord Jesus, for words You have spoken
And deeds among men that You did
To demonstrate Scripture can never be broken,
And evidence cannot be hid.
