"Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy Word is truth. As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth" (John 17:17-19).
Sanctified by Jesus Christ
And to the lost we're sent,
To show that He was sacrificed,
And call them to repent.
Sanctified to now declare
Our Savior has been raised,
We preach the Gospel everywhere,
That Christ may thus be praised.
Sanctified now by the Word,
Which is the truth of God,
We take the Gospel we have heard,
With which our feet are shod.
Lord Jesus, now we follow You;
That's all we need to know.
We know Your promise still is true,
To lead us where we go.
