"Through wisdom is an house builded.... A just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.... Afterwards build thine house" (Proverbs 24:3,16,27). "Ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave Me alone.... These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).
Troubles may come that will cause us to stumble,
But afterwards rise up and build!
Storms may be ordered to make us more humble,
Yet by our Lord's peace they are stilled!
These things were spoken to give us good cheer,
And find all our peace in the Lord.
Only our Savior could vanquish our fear,
And by Him our soul is restored.
Lord Jesus, in view of this world's tribulation,
Which You said would surely be found,
We thank You for cheering us with Your salvation
That gives us Your peace to rebound.
