Psalm 97:12 ~ Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Proverbs 16:6 ~ By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Leviticus 2:13 ~ Thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt... with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
Ephesians 3:18,19 ~ Comprehend... what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge... filled with all the fullness of God.
As salt preserves and also seasons
Our food with a delightful flavor,
May our remembrance give us reasons
To have delight in Christ our Savior.
By grace and truth our sin was purged;
By godly fear we fled to Christ.
What wondrous love is this that urged
Our Savior to be sacrificed!
