Psalm 101:1-3 ~ I will sing of mercy and judgment... O LORD... within my house ... I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.
Proverbs 20:9 ~ Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
Leviticus 6:13 ~ The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
Philippians 1:21 ~ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Why should I let a wicked thing
Within my house before my eyes?
Should not I rather praise my King
Within a heart He sanctifies?
I am His temple, am I not?
The Lord has surely made that plain!
To live is Christ; this is my lot.
Since this is so, to die is gain.
