Psalm 99:6,8 ~ Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name… Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
Proverbs 15:31 ~ The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
Micah 2:7 ~ O thou that art named the house of Jacob… do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
Revelation 3:19 ~ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
The Lord has surely loved us well,
Reproving us with staff and rod.
With greater grace than we can tell,
We have been rescued by our God.
His words are good that give correction
To set our hearts on things above.
How graciously He gives protection
By His reproof that shows His love!
