The Lord who purchased our salvation
Has heard each heart that humbly prays.
Examining each generation,
He sees and ponders all their ways.
He saw the rage of Haman’s pride;
He heard His people’s tearful prayers.
Let us consider Christ who died
And thus be confident He cares.
