Psalm 98:1-3 He hath done marvelous things… The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed… He hath remembered his mercy and his truth.
Proverbs 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
Jeremiah 42:18,21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts… ye shall be… a curse,
and a reproach… I have this day declared it
to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God.
Galatians 3:13,14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law… that
the blessing of Abraham might come.
The Lord has openly displayed
The righteousness of His salvation,
For all of us like sheep had strayed
And thus, deserved His condemnation.
We know why Christ was cursed for us:
His love could never be denied.
His grace and truth are marvelous
By which the curse was satisfied!
