"The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him" (2 Chronicles 16:9). "As the dew… the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore" (Psalm 133:3). "The way of life is above to the wise" (Proverbs 15:24). "If any man sin, we have an Advocate… Jesus Christ the righteous… that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming" (1 John 2:1,28).
The eyes of God
run to and fro
Throughout the
earth in every place
Where hearts are
found that He may show
The power of His
saving grace.
As dew
descending from the skies,
The Lord
descended from above.
Our souls were
precious in His eyes;
We were the
object of His love.
Our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ,
Upon His cross
for us has died.
Our Advocate was
sacrificed
That we might
thus be justified.
O Lord, our
Advocate indeed,
You are enthroned
above in splendor,
Yet even now You
intercede
With watchful
care as our Defender!
