“Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling” (Psalm 116:8).
From
heaven the Lord heard my voice:
From
death He delivered my soul.
My
heart in the Lord shall rejoice
And
rest in salvation so full!
My
eyes He delivered from tears,
Replacing
my sorrow with joy.
He
cast away all of my fears
With
comfort that none can destroy.
My
feet He delivered from falling;
He
gave me His light on my path.
From
heaven the Lord heard me calling;
He
gave me His refuge from wrath.
This
