"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.... Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your heart" (Psalm 95:6-8). "Render therefore... unto God, the things that are God's.... Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind" (Matthew 22:21,37).
Worship calls for all our heart,
With all our soul, and all our mind.
We ought to render every part:
A triune tribute God designed!
The Lord is standing in the midst
Of every single congregation,
And knowing hardened hearts exist,
Today He offers His salvation.
The lost may fill the church's pew,
And they may sing each sacred song,
But they cannot escape God's view,
Who still exposes what is wrong.
O Lord, we come transparently,
As You examine every thought.
Remove from us hypocrisy,
That we may worship as we ought!
